Hopi Ear Candles

Posted in Hopi Ear Candles by audrey on the April 20th, 2008

Originally used by Native American Hopi Indians these candles are made of woven cloth and have honey, sage, camomile, and bees wax in them.  The candle is held over the opening of the ear canal and lit. The vapours enter the ear, nose and throat canals soothing inflammations, unblocking blockages and drawing out impurities in the ear. A filter prevents the impurities flowing back into the ear.

This treatment is beneficial for

  • sinus problems
  • headaches
  • migraines
  • pressure in the head
  • reducing ear wax
  • and is a natural and painless alternative for syringing.

The treatment is completed by a facial and neck massage.

 Sessions last around 45 minutes
